Wallingford Dentist - Wallingford Station Family Dental - Dr. John Galson, D.M.D. (Retired)
Dr. Galson grew up in Haverford Pennsylvania and attended Episcopal Academy, from which he graduated in 1962. He received his B.S. in chemistry from Lafayette College in 1966 and attended University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating with his D.M.D. in 1970. After leaving school he taught operative dentistry at Penn for three years.
Dr. Galson enjoys tennis, backpacking, skiing and mountain climbing. His love for cars and racing is reflected in his involvement with vintage sports car racing up and down the East Coast, Canada and the Midwest. He enjoys the mechanical work as well as the actual racing and has restored several Porsches and a Jaguar. He has climbed several 14,000 ft. peaks in Colorado and most of the high peaks in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
Dr. Galson is married to Fran and between them they have eleven grandchildren!!
Dr. Galson having officially retired in January 2013 is enjoying his free time. He has been traveling, working on his cars, spending time with his grandchildren and he even finds time to stop in and visit us here in the office.
